I'm Emily Goodwin, a local photographer from Center Moriches, and I’m thrilled to be back at the Waterdrinker Farm for my third year offering tulip mini sessions.
A Little About Me
I’ve been a professional photographer since graduating from Suffolk County Community College in 2016 with my associate’s degree in photography. I specialize in weddings, couples, and family photography. My style is known for being warm, colorful, and full of life. I love capturing the genuine moments and emotions that unfold between my clients. My goal is always to create images that feel natural and true to who you are.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a wife and a mom to my 1-year-old son. My husband and I have been married for almost four years, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have him by my side. We're so excited to welcome our baby girl this July! Becoming a mother has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
I come from a big family, so family has always been at the heart of everything I do. I’ve learned just how precious it is to have those special moments captured, especially when life moves so fast.
I also love the outdoors—anything from going for walks, hiking, and running, to simply exploring new spots around Long Island. My free time is also spent experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and singing and playing music with my husband. Our house is never quiet!
Travel is another huge passion of mine. Whether it’s a weekend road trip or an international adventure, I love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.
My Photography
Photography is my passion, and I am beyond grateful to be able to share it with others. A big part of my work is capturing weddings, and I absolutely love being a part of my couples' special day. Every wedding is unique, and I feel so lucky to be entrusted with the task of preserving those memories in a way that feels true to each couple.
Family sessions are another area that brings me so much joy. I love watching kids play and interact naturally with their parents while I capture those candid moments. At the same time, I make sure to capture those beautiful family portraits that you’ll cherish for years to come.
In addition to weddings and family photos, I also specialize in couples and engagement sessions. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or just want to capture your relationship, I’m here to help you tell your love story.
One of my ultimate goals is to photograph elopements and destination weddings. The idea of capturing couples in stunning, remote locations is so exciting to me. Whether it’s exchanging vows on a mountaintop, by the ocean, or in a picturesque city abroad, being part of such an intimate moment in a beautiful setting would be a dream come true.
Photo Sessions at Waterdrinker Farm
This year marks my third year offering mini sessions at Waterdrinker Farm, and it’s been such an amazing experience to work there! The tulips and sunflower fields provide a stunning backdrop for photo sessions. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the beauty of the farm and the welcoming atmosphere.
The team at Waterdrinker has been incredibly kind and supportive. Their generosity and hospitality has made my experience there truly special, and it’s been a pleasure to partner with them over the years. I’m so excited to be back again this spring for the tulip sessions and to continue this wonderful tradition.
